What Are the Planets of the Solar System in Order From the Sun?

Solar system consists of many celestial bodies, but main elements in it are our star – Sun, eight planets, five dwarf planets, asteroid belt and Kuiper belt. If we go from the Sun to the outer space, planets sorted by distance are:

– Mercury, nearly 57 910 000 km from the Sun
– Venus, nearly 108 200 000 km from the Sun
– Earth, nearly 148 600 000 km from the Sun
– Mars, nearly 227 940 000 km from the Sun

Then there are gas giants or Jovian planets:

– Jupiter , nearly 778 330 000 km from the Sun
– Saturn, nearly 1 429 400 000 km from the Sun
– Uranus, nearly 2 870 000 000 km from the Sun
– Neptune, nearly 4 504 000 000 km from the Sun.

Then there are dwarf planets:

– Ceres, nearly 413 700 000 km from the Sun
– Pluto, nearly 5 906 380 000 km from the Sun
– Haumea, nearly 6 484 000 000 km from the Sun
– Makemake, nearly 6 850 000 000 km from the Sun
– Eris, nearly 10 210 000 000 km from the Sun
