When it comes to film industry and entertainment, New York comes right after L.A. Anyone who is hoping to become an actor wants to try his luck in New York City. There are many theaters here, and all together they are called “the Broadway”. Journalism, advertising industry, and all kinds of business in general are incredibly developed in New York City.

Being so big, New York City has a great transportation system. The citizens do not even need cars. There are more than four hundred and sixty stations in this city and you do not need a car at all! The subway is also enormously large and works perfectly.

The Statue of Liberty is one of the famous things to see in New York, so as the Empire State Building. The Twin Towers were also located in New York City, until the crash on September 11.

There is a great diversity in every social sphere! More than hundred and fifty languages are spoken in New York City. Population is mixed and so as the culture.

New York is also celebrated in numerous books and TV shows. One of those is “Sex and the City”.
